We really enjoyed our tour. Voula was kind and informative. We really loved that this tour showed us what Greeks usually do, meaning what they eat in their everyday lives. Our favorite was going through the meat markets and stopping at the sweet shop with the meats and cheeses. We would have never tasted these things on our own. Voula also helped us plan the rest of our stay in Athens and was a huge help to us the whole week as we were looking for bus routes or things to do.

Dimitris was an amazing guide. He showed us some lovely little spots were locals meet to share their afternoon meze and aperitif. We also had some traditional Greek coffee and delicious honey and cinnamon doughnuts. Dimitris is very knowledgable about the area and it’s history and shared with us some interesting facts. It’s a perfect tour for any food lover and an absolute must for any visitor to Athens.

Walking food tour with Dimitris was fantastic and we were stuff by the end of it. Dimitris was very knowledgeable as he is a journalist from Greece. He spoke very good English and came to meet us at the main train. You walk for this tour but you never felt tired. Too busy learning and tasting and looking. Thank you Dimitris great time was had by all 4 of us.

Had a great tour of Athens with Dimitris. We got a tour of the fish, meat, fruit, and spice markets. Got a chance to eat some fantastic traditional Greek foods, and desserts, and had a stop at a really good coffee shop as well. Dimitris is an awesome guide with a wealth of knowledge about the city of Athens, it’s history, people and Greek culture. He is an attentive guide that left us without want at the end. Dimitris went well above and beyond your regular tour guide experience. In the end, we left with a full belly, and a full bag of goodies as well. We highly recommend Dimitris as a local guide, and would do the tour again just to hang out with him. Don’t hesitate to take this tour! Amazing experience!

Dimitris treated our family to an absolutely authentic foodie experience in Athens mixing in touring streets and sights that shouldn’t be missed. We tried fruits in season at the market, nuts, raisins, variety of olives, traditional Greek coffee and sat for a full meal pork& chicken pita, taziki,salad all so incredibly delicious. Dimitris had an incredible agenda planned for our tour and checked in with us as we proceeded to make sure the kids were ok to keep going. Our scheduled guide, Dimitris, was not well and sent Zula to guide us. It was Sunday morning in Athens, when many places are closed, but we had a great tour. knowledgeable and knew what establishments were open. She was extremely articulate and gave us local nuances about the areas we visited and history lessons. The places we stopped were enjoyable with good food tastings and friendly people. All in all it was a very worthwhile tour and I would recommend it to anyone visiting Athens especially on a Sunday.

Wow! Our group had an absolute fantastic food tour with Dimitris as we strolled the streets of Athens Greece visiting the fish and meat markets, sampling the delicacies of the local foods, and experiencing the great sights of Athens. Dimitris' expertly guided us through Athens while exposing us to the history and historical sights of this wonderful city. Our first full day in Athens and my wife and I decided to spend the morning with Dimitris. What a great decision! First of all, Dimitris was wonderful! He taught us phrases as we walked around. He gave us historical info, architectural input, traveling around Athens training, and also many different sampling of food and drink. We watched the changing of the guard in front of Parliament. Dimitris tailored the tour to us and what we wanted to spend the time doing. We don't drink alcohol and so when he offered to have us sample some wines and we declined, he took us to a juice bar instead. This tour, with Dimitris, was a perfect way for us to begin our time in Greece and we're so grateful to Dimitris for the job he did. We highly recommend him!
